anyone know how to wipe out a mac ibook? I’m selling my ibook to my friend is there a simple way to just delete all files and still leave the important stuff on there?
put the install disk in and re-format the partition and re-install the OS
Do a fresh install… put cd in and hold c at boot it should start booting from the cdrom
?? he’s not trying to sell it here, he’s just asking how to format it.
