hey guys
i had some idiot hit and run my 89 coupe, the passenger side was pretty banged up. so i ripped off the pop ups and went with a jdm s13 front end. but while i was in the process i did notice after the damage, there was a clicking noise from under the hood. i beleive its from the relays. could this be why my battery keeps getting discharged overnight? how do i fix it? the relay thats clicking is the bigo ones on the right side closest to the windsheild. not exactly sure what the name is. someone help me soon i cant keep jump starting everymorning hahha
thanks
any info?
find out which relay is “clicking” and trace the wires… sounds like you have a short somewhere that’s drawing power continuously from the battery.
clicking is coming from you EGI relays for your fuel pump (one of the green ones in the fuse box beside battery) check grounds…
If the car is running just dissconnect the battery when your done driving. pain in the ass but wont kill battery. just use a volt meter and track it d6wn, try replacing your fuses with new ones…
cool thanks guys
I think i know what it is valve dropped in
