okay i finally picked up my 240 and the speedo started workin out of no where
but now all of a sudden when i press the clutch pedal it makes this funny clunking sound and even when i release it
i’m thinkin it could be a spring on the pedal but then the pedal should come back up so now i’m lost
any suggestions???
could be your clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. clutch pedal doesnt come back up?

my bad… the pedal works fine it’s just that it started making this clunkin sound everytime i press the pedal…it’s coming from the interior of the car not the engine bay…
i already did crawl under and didnt seem to find anything out of place that why i ask U guys … jus incase there is a common problem with these things in these cars… U never know

Like Freak said, check the piviots, there’s a nylon(?) bushing wheer teh pedal pivots that has probably worn out. Either that or yoru master is falling off…

is your master cylinder leaking? see fluid on your mats? u might just need to adjust the clutch pedal, or rebuild the master cylinder. there is a cotter pin that holds the push rod from the master cylinder in place with the pedal. my cotter pin was missing, and my clutch pedal felt like ass and it made a creaking sorta sound.
