Squeaky Clutch

My friends s13b 240sx has a squeaky clutch pedel, whenever pressed and released. Like a “eee…eee…”

It also doesn’t come back up all the way for the top quarter~half an inch or so.

Any suggestions, thanx!!

The part that’s squeeking in it, is the main spring, i had the same problem in my first 240… just greese it up and it won’t squeek. (i tried using wd40 once, but it only solved it temporarily)

u need to adjust the clutch pedal freeplay. its been discussed 1000x in this site, do a search!!

haha, really? i’ve never read anything about the pedal freeplay, but i arleady explained how i fixed my squeeky clutch :stuck_out_tongue:

^^^ that pathetic excuse for a patch up job you mean?

:stuck_out_tongue:

j/k, there is a 12mm nut (i think that is the size) that you have to loosen on the shaft coming from the clutch master cylinder. Once you loosen that, turn the shaft clockwise, and then re-tighten the initial nut.

that is how you adjust your clutcxh pedal freeplay, i won’t explain it agin…

NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!
