I am going to be changing my clutch this summer. How long should I allow for the job. One day, a weekend?? I have never changed a clutch, but I am fairly good with working on cars and figuring things out. Also is iy difficult to change the rear main seal?? and what all is involved in that?

since ur changing the clutch it would be wise to get the flyweel resurfaced as well if it has heat spots.
its relatively easy , but lining back up the transmission without a hoist is a bitch … id say a weekend
IMO it’s a weekend for your first time, a full day for your second time and an afternoon for any time after that.
lining it up is the hard part, try turning the tranny on different angles to get it to slip on.
