Apparently so in Washington…
i also failed my g test do that coming up to a stop i dont know how i could gear down to 1st?
wtf? Adam you got a ticket?
Yeah, on G test you have to down shift, you cant just put the car into neutral.
No no I didn’t get it, my friend Joe did in the States.
ya you can fail your G test because of that
how old is that ticket because it says the road conditions were on ice in a school zone
i failed my first g test because i shifted though an intersection from a stop…
so they want me to bounce off the rev limiter.
i also got duckted for not looking on my passenger blind spot while entering the highway to my left…
i also got duckted for avoiding potholes.
i failed that test by ONE point.
wow, the instructor was probaly shitting his pants in your car!
It also says he was doing 60 in a 45
What school zone has a 45 mph speed limit? (45 mph = 70 kph). Regardless, he was doing 100km/h in a school zone. Surprised he didn’t get hit with more LOL.
Looks like he pissed off the cop, getting failing to notify address change, failure to what looks like change registration, and coasting in neutral.
Yeah, he probably said something he shouldn’t have.
ie: “But officer, i just got off the highway, i was letting the car slow down on its own as i coasted in neutral” … or something
you know what i mean.
I never thought anything of it. I coast in neutral down straight hills and stuff when i go faster that way anyways.
I’ve been told that costing in Neutral isnt good because something does not circulate in the tranny then which means no oil cooling her down ?
Not saying its true but just something I was told…
I dont see how that makes sense. Input shaft isnt connected to any gears in neutral, so nothing is spinning, hence the output shaft does not move. The flywheel just keeps spinning, but isnt spinning the output shaft.

^^^ What are you new?
The outputshaft doesnt spin when your coasting?
The clutch isn’t in the diff dudeman. When your coasting in
Neutral everything inside your tranny is spinning minus your
inputshaft. It still gets the proper lubrication when coasting in Neutral.
all the gears still spin just no dogs have engaged any gears,
everything still spins.
yeah man so much retarded things that dont make sense and are more dangerous if u do them like checking your passenger side blind spot when your entering the highway to your left, shouldnt i be check the on coming traffic then worrying about the passenger blind spot if im gonna be going into the left lane?
stupid.
my kade had the worst syncros ever, i couldnt downshift to first unless i was stopped and i couldnt downshift to second unless i was going 25 mph
Wait coasting in neutral is ok?
Then why are you not supposed to tow a car with its drive wheels on the ground?
I also heard that that coasting means something is not getting lubricated properly?
well, oil circulates when the car is on right? so it’d be a different story if the car was off.
I don’t think the drive wheels & neutral are a problem. See, in my Corolla’s owners manual, it says that I can tow it behind an RV or something like that b/c it’s stick. If I had an auto Corolla, this would be a big no-no.
Good to know thanks !
