hey i took my g2 test and got 96% out off 100% i am from london onatario she said she failed me cuz when i parked i cut it took close to the car ahead of me…is that fair lol who else faield their g2
Sucks man. I failed my G1 3 times, 1st time i got my G2 and got my G first time. and im only 17 lol. Better luck next time man remember there very anal about it.

Its all at the examiners discretion. I ****ed up a good 40% of the test and passed my G2. But i’ve also heard retarded stories like “ride was too jerky = fail”
I passed all of mine on the first shot, but on the test to only thing they every said i did wrong was i did not check my blind spot when changing lanes, even tho my head was turned right back, and that i down shifted to early.
for me g1 first try 16, g2 first try 17, g first try 18, g-z first try 19
I’m so confused about this thread. I think we need to clarify
the Test to get your G1 is just that ==> Written Test
the G1 Test is to get your G2 ==> 15 min road Test
the G2 Test is to get your G ==> 45 min road Test
For some reason, when people say they failed a G1 Test they mean they’ve failed the written portion and when people say they failed the G2 Test they think they’ve failed the first driving portion of 15 mins.
It is extremely difficult to fail the Written Test to get your G1 unless you just didn’t read the book.
You can fail the G1 Test easily if you waited until last minute to go for the test, substantially far behind any real effort to realize that this was something important.
You can fail the G2 Test if you’ve waited a long time to go for the test and you’ve developed the bad habbits of an experienced driver… Like sitting in the passing lane while driving instead of sitting in the correct lane.
Of course, you can also fail any two of the driven tests if you have a bad instructor. Not much you can do about it but reschedule the test again. Fortunately I believe you do not need to wait very long to get the next test.

How do you guys fail G1 3 times? I passed mine on first try without even opening the book. It’s all common sense of rules and regulations. I’m not sure if I can feel safe on the roads again… you do know that red light means STOP right? sarcasm
G1 = aced (read half an hour in the chinese cheat book before the test)

Some notable personal experiences.
One of my former buddies hit a tree (branch) while trying to park on his g2 test.
Another one of my friends smacked a curb on his G… in broad daylight (no snow or rain or hinderances)

G was a breez , much better then my G2 , I got a 99% i was just a little to far from the curb when parallel parked … i cant honestly say why i failed my G1 3 times i will search for my tests .
i got my g1 and 2 first try, G i failed because a J walker ran across the street and instead of running him over i stopped in the intersection…my 2nd time the guy was, no lie, smoking in my car with his feat out the window like it was his last day on the job or something. i think he passed me because i said i couldn’t see out my passenger mirror and he was like “

i pass my first 2 tests easy, no problems, getting my g2 i parallel parked a foot and a half on the curb(i was doing it in front of the driveway and didn’t feel the tiny bump) but he pass me with a 96 neways

I think i smell total Bull ish from both of you, Cal-Soy, i don’t think you passed by getting 60%, the ministry has a standard, if any test driver had the complete authority to pass fail, one it wouln’d last long two they would have ample of stories of under the table, passing drivers.
The standard is about 80% for passing, anything after 80% you are gauranteed pass, anything below but close the intstructor has the right to pass or fail you.
As for the person who failed, there is no Fuking way you failed on 96% people who get marked 90 above are exceptional drivers, i know because i got all my testing through my aunt who’s a test centre driving instructer.
there is no way she told you you got 96% before you actually did the final step which was reverse parking,therefore she would not have given you 96% when you almost hit the other car while reversing, so either you are liying or you actually got less than 96% and if she said ohh you got 96% but i failed you on a parking, man did you get chumped, i’d have yelled my ass of at her and made her ears bleed for doing that, if people are a-holes to you have to be an a-hole back, its not right but the worlds too fuked up to go back.
lets say you did that on the final step she would have given you a lower failing mark not a 96% fail.
how im so sure, because before i went on for my test, i asked my aunt she said just make sure you get more than 80% thats it, and watch for pedestrians, traffic signs and complete stop at stop signs and use all mirror’s no matter what, and keep the speed limit, parking is not a biggy.
And i got a big huge Stone Cold Steve Austin type of a Mother, he was treating me like a little punk, till the end when he smilled and said congrats you passed. And also during our test drive 4 young white dudes, cut across infront of us heading right at a 4 way stop intersection,in a black escalade, and the guy in the front passenger side leans out and fingers to the driving instructor, “hahahaha” that was awsome, because i wanted to show him the finger too for bieng a dick, but after that incedent he laughed and cooled down.
I guess he must have failed alot of young guys.even locals.lol
i dont know pyro if you ment me, but i got tested by the intructor who was known to fail every kid from 16 to 19, who i was hoping not to get, but i did , and there is a law, no family member can be road tested by a relative, a friend or a assosiate.
the only help i got from my aunt was what to practice my skills on and pay attention too, and an early testing date other than that, she can’t do anything else too many laws in place.
