Anybody know of a Black '03/'04 Cobra in the McKees Rocks area… .it followed me up Ohio River Blvd this morning as i was on my way into Oakland… he zipped around me once, and then when i got up beside him, i put my window down, with hopes he would do the same… He looked at me, revved the motor, and took off… :dunno: my g/f says “i guess he wants to race eh?”… I guess so… if there would have been a straight w/ no traffic, i’d have given it a try… i mean, i konw i’ll loose… Cobras run … what? 12.5 stock give or take… so stock he’s got 1/2 a second on me… plus w/e he has done to fix it up…
He seemed like a hard-ass, but a gorgeous car!.. I’d love to see it…
If i recall, he tried to run me on my bike one time too… I most definitely obliged… and he wasn’t so successful… but a very fast car…
Within the next 2 years, i will be gettin a new car b/c my T/A is gettin high in miles… I’m trying to put my thumb on what i want, and its soooo tough… can’t decide if i want a Cobra, or if i want to supercharge another T/A… I’m leainign towards the T/A, but its tough… decisions - decisions… luckily i’m in no hurry…

Were you coming across the Mckees Rocks Bridge yesterday about 5:15. I seen a red ta and it sounded like a Borla on it.
Yea, i left my apartment on the island about slightly after 5… so that would have probably been me… Should have been on my bike… but i’ve been takin it easy and savin as much gas as i can. We’re you in a camaro? cuz i dont recall seeing one. I usually have a keen eye for stuff like that.
How’s it sound? i still have yet to hear the damn thing outside of the car.
Cool, I was not in a Camaro, I was in my truck, 02 Green Silverado with mountain dew colored racing stripes. I am driving my TA today :stick: 
Yea it sounded good, you werent really on it though. My SLP sounds like a jake brake between 2 and 3000 rpm.

Yes, fairly dark tinted windows… mine are tinted, not real dark (perfect in my opinion), and i couldnt see him when my window was up… but when i put it down, i could see him a little… pretty dark tint tho… looked really good 
Of course his car is well faster than mine anyhow… but w/ an auto my car feels much slower from a roll that from a stop… maybe its just in my head…
Mine has a spot where it is like that too… i don’t recall it being like that til i had a pipe put through the cat… so i dunno how that would affect it, but it doesnt bother me… makes it sound even more like old-school muscle… and yea, you’d konw if i were on it… it makes just a little bit of noise LOL
just need those headers and a tq.conv. and i’d be set…
problem there tho… no $$, and i hate to spend what $$ i have on that stuff, if i’m gettin rid of my car within the next year or year and a half
btw, the Cobra took the exit for 28 north right before the Fort D bridge
Hey man, that was me. I live in the Rocks. Sorry for not talking, I didn’t see you had your window down till I was already in the gas. You car sounds good, I’ve seen it before when I was in my truck. I was just itching for some action today. I work in the same building as a guy with an 04 GTO and we left at the same time yesterday, but I was in my truck :mad: . I’ve raced him once before, but always enjoy a little street action to brighten up my day. Don’t think that was me you raced on your bike though. Doubt the result would have been much different, but I just havn’t raced any bikes yet so I know it wasn’t me. I’ve seen a pretty sweet sounding red Vette coming across the Bridge on my way home quote a few times, but I’ve always been going the other way. Well I’m done rambling now. Sorry againg for the snub, hopefully I’ll run into you again sometime

Haha, yeah I used to live over in Coraopolis, so I would drive down the Island quite a bit. My other ride is an 85 mustang Gt, but you won’t see it out for a while, it’s under construction. It’s been sitting for a few years without insurance, and I’m finally gonna put it back together this winter I hope. I broke the crank in half a few years ago, so I hope to get it back together the way it used to be. I’m sure it will still be slower than my cobra unless I get some juice to it, but I just love the sound of a big cam :burnout:
