What are the disadvantages of these type of adjustable springs? Are they any good ?

aha
oh yeah, the wannabe coilovers, well… it depends on what you want to achieve, if u want to gain adjustability but no actual performance, then these are for u, if i was in ur place though, it’d just go for sportlines and spend ur money elsewhere.

what do you guys think about Ground Controls?

those coil overs use STUPID springs, after 3 months you will be able to compress them by standing on them, or even with your hand if you are as big and strong as Pavel

they are ALL made in teh same factories and sold iin different colours under different names…

if you are paying more than $200 you are getting ripped off.

cost on those is under $100, and generally can be had for $169 retail.

considering a decent set of springs costs twice that, all your questions regarding quality are answered.

Ground on the other hand uses an Eibahc spring, much stiffer, you can actually specify your spring rate and have them shippied already mounted on AGX’s or tokico’s

without the strut, $550 is average for ground control and about $1200 with struts…

but then you can get a Tein set almost.

if you want the Bouncy-Boucny i just lowered my saturn SC-2, and bump the fosgate style ride, then get the coil sleeves.

i’ll be cheap and i’ll use mikes excuse - my car is faster :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a crutch I know but it still works LOL The SR went hunting last night and had a quick meal of DSM. Yummy!
