was looking into a set of coil overs but don’t really understand how you would mount these any help?

you would simply replace those with the stock spring. but for sixty bucks, i might question their quality/safety

how would you mount the adjusters thought?

pretend the adjusters are part of the spring. they go on as one unit persay.

basically they give you a spring that is REALLY low, and you use the adjusters to lift the car to a height you want.

Do NOT buy $60 ebay coilovers. Idiot.

i wasn’t going to buy them i didn’t know how they worked

Yeah those are garbage. A couple years ago my dumbass thought they were cool and bought some off ebay. Once i got them i realized they were trash. More like garage ornaments.

yea, those are junk. I hope you weren’t seriously considering trusting your car’s ride and safety on the integrity of a $60 part from ebay. buy a good set of springs and be done with it, or save up and get a decent set of coilovers.

i was looking at the skunk 2 set up
prolly gonna go with a set from them

ground control coilovers are top notch imo

ive ran them on alot of my cars and never had a problem

if you want shocks to match up with them look into the koni yellows

the combination is around 800-900 but is well worth it imo

right, that’s why you started a thread about them…

don’t skimp on suspension mods.

i bought a set of those before for my probe not one tech at my old work nor myself could get them to work on my car they come with no instructions and not even a decent picture

+1 for koni yellows and ground controls. The only real issue is that the off the shelf single adjustable yellows are only good for up to about 450-500 lb springs, and the revalve costs about as much as the shocks do.

Similar parts have been used by many Miata owners: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=289656

General consensus used to be that the sleeves were OK but the springs were crap. Lately, though, it seems like some are using the provided springs and are reasonably happy with them.
