Hey guys for the past week or so I’ve been debating between KYB AGX 4 way Adjustable struts with Eiback sport line springs or Tein coilovers.
Im not planing on droping my car to the ground and the car is my daily driver from May to November. It doesn’t see the track every weekend it’s more street driven.
What do you guys think I should get. Right now I have Eibach sportline springs on my car with regular KYB struts and Im thinking of changing my struts to KYB AGX 4 way adjustables or should I get rid of the struts and springs and go with some D2 or Megan or Tein coilovers?
seriously…we discussed this twice now. Big long threads too. Search I posted what I thought about the AGX and Tein HE’s. As did many others, this topic has been beat to death. Run a search dude.
You don’t have to drive on the track every weekend to enjoy coilovers. I only made it out to two or three track events last year - but I love driving with my coilovers. If you like a bumpy ride, and having a great suspension setup, go for coilovers. If you want a comfortable ride, but dont like all the body roll, go for spring/struts. Completely personal preference.
I just got the 4 point CP racing sway bars for the front and back. And now Im wondering what would be better the coils overs or the springs and struts.
The CP Racing bars are Strut Tower Bars or STB’s. Sway Bars (AKA Anti-Roll Bars) are a completely different part. STB’s don’t control suspension roll. I suggest you use your good friend Google to look up more on the subject.
Yes I know that already…? My question is, with what I already have, what would be better for me to do, coilovers or struts and spring? Sorry I should of made my self more clear.

Whats with people clearly denying what they said? If you thought the CP bars were Sway bars how can you say you knew they weren’t and imply that it was actually Mike’s fault for misunderstanding what you said?
Springs/Shocks + Sways would be my advice for a nice street car.
You asked what’s best for you, not what’s best for anyone else… people think you will enjoy springs/struts more for your purposes. Coilovers are great, and most of the people who have them (those being the people who didn’t buy them to be able to say they have coilovers) are crazy about them. Personally I’d never go with springs/struts, but I like the harsh ride.
I have had both Sportline/KYB AGX and now D2 Coilovers (9/7).
Sportline/KYB is an excellent package and a great handling improvement
over stock. This setup still keeps a very streetable ride.
However, coilovers handle much better, hands down. But there is a great
deal of comfort sacrifice with coilovers, especially with the spring rates I
run. I love my coilovers and the bumpy ride that goes along with them. I
feel every crack in the pavement and I love it. I also love the car
slammed and tires rubbing everything, I am somewhat retarded.
Also girls don’t like the bumpy ride cause hit hurts their titties. My GF
would rather ride in my slut of a car than walk, so meh.
