I’m sure you guys have had threads on it in the past but I’m too noob to be in on those.
Season pass picture days are coming up. Gonna make a weekend of it while I’m up there and hike/bike everything with my dogs.
Psyched for snow.
Who goes regularly?
I should be there most nights for night session, and all weekends. looking for others to tear up the slopes and drink with.
eff snowboardin. two plankin is where its at man
Can’t. Skied all my life but had knee rebuild that almost cost me from even walking without a cane. Orthopaedic surgeon is my brother-in-law and avid boarder who has limited me to snowboarding. If I skied and got a tip caught and twisted my knee, it’d be all over. But on a board, both feet are connected so I’m good.
Having skied for so long (28 years) and picking up a snowboard for the first time two years ago, I’m now finding boarding way more fun. I’d never go back to skis now even if I could.
i go but rarely to any resort
im down as long as the foggy still has pitchers
I want to get on my board sometime this winter
Hell yeah.
I’m not real good, I’ve only boarded for about 2 years (only went 6 or 7 times). I can stop and do okay there, but I am by no means an avid boarder.
But I will be out there a couple of times with the wife.
… only on weekdays.
i’m in for whenever. i dont think a trip is in the budget for this year so i’ll be at seven springs as much as possible.
I wanna start going. I have a snowboard that I haven’t used since I bought it 4 eyars ago.
I used to instruct at Seven Springs but I haven’t been on my board in a couple years. I’d love to be going regularly, but I don’t have the time. My last good riding day was at Breckenridge, in shitty weather at that!
weekdays it is
ohh yes my friend… we usually go to the goggle for a few hours, take our pictures with our pitchers right next to our face, lol… I have had a season pass for the last 13 years… so I will defiantly see you up there. We also get a season locker, but we are way overdue and I hope ours is still reserved because we still have yet to pay for it! We will defiantly have to meet up there this year!
One of my buddys just bought a cabin last year up there, its not on the mountain… you know when you make the left at the Star Market? You go straight instead of making that left and you make like the 3rd right onto Pine Slopes… so its nice that its close enough that as long as you can drift down the mountain, you can get home safe, lol
nice! sounds like it’s in the indian head / sculton area.
way avid skier here. Just sold a pair of 1080’s that I’ve been rocking for a long time. Looking to pick up Head MadTrix or leftover Armada Ar5’s from willies in october.
I will be up there a lot. It’s practice ground for at bigger trip later in the season. Last year there were actually powder nights on the north face!:boink
I’m at one of the resorts at least once or twice a week. I don’t buy a season pass. Usually go with a group rate wherever. I get bored riding just one place.
bored??? at 7springs??? but it’s got 730 feet of vertical, lol! :hahano:
Season Locker is clutch… we honestly buy it to put liquor and beer in it… you wouldnt believe how much money it saves. Our locker is right underneath the goggle which is great! One of my buddys stole a pitcher from the goggle, came down to the locker, grabbed 4 beers from the locker and filled it up, lol… some peoples kids… most of the time we have a nice little party in the season locker room, its great!
Last few years I’ve done that. This past year I didn’t get west for the first time in forever, but I did hit Killington, Holiday Valley, Canaan and Snowshoe a number of times, and Hidden Valley every week for their cheap day.
That got expensive. Can’t beat the season pass for like $359. That’s friggen dirt cheap for as much as I go.
I can stay un-bored in the terrain parks and the bar.
Planning to go to Chile for summer snow next year, so I need to save.
I have yet to go west. I want to something fierce.
Killington is a definite for me this year.
They don’t make snowboarding stuff in my size :>(
