screw killington. If you know where to stay, or have friends in the area, you can do CO. just as cheap. The terrain / snow in CO can’t be touched by anything on the east coast… Trust me. I’ve been around to Tremblant, Killington, etc. Nothing compares to the west.

ninja edit: that is as far as US skiing or maybe even North American skiing. I’ve heard great things about Chamonix, but that’s a whole different ball game.

i have a friend moving to A-basin but not until next summer :down: so i’m just sucking it up until next year when i can get some free lodging. i spent a week in lake tahoe this year and i’d have to agree, theres really not anything on the east coast that compares.
