I want to use my 9 pin cable, plug it into my laptop, and then plug the other end of the cable into my PC so i can share files and internet! I’m having MAJOR issues doing this. I got it to work the other day, but thought it was too slow so i deleted it. now i want it back again and cant get it to work.

i dont know what you mean by “9 pin” cable…
but
if you are plugging your computer directly into your laptop you better have auto-sensing nic’s… if not you will need a crossover cable…
or just buy a switch/router and enable file sharing on both pc’s…

its a serial cable, the way u want to do that is going to be slow as hell.
So thats why I had 19mbps. lol, Yeah I’ll just use a wireless card then!
