Alright so my whole computer froze up the other day. It got som virus, so I redid everything. Wiped it all out and reinstalled everyhting. Now ther eis no sound at all. Just a beep from teh tower when there shoudl be a sound. Just abotu 30 minutes ago. THe moniter now will nto stay turned on for more then a second or two. I’m usign my brothers computer now. I have no idea what the hell is wrong with mine. Has anyone got any ideas. Very much appreciated thanks.
Maybe it is on strike due to bad grammar/typos?
Did you use recovery CD’s or did you manual install all of the drivers for it?
What is the make and model of it?
werd… install all the latest updated drivers from the manufacturers website and go from there

oh… didnt notice that… possibly a fried mobo? do you have onboard video?

If all else fails,re-seat everything.
Start with video card & ram,PCI cards.
If that dont fix it,re-seat the processor.
Long beeps? Short beeps? as buickGN requested.
monitor goes off quickly? did you set your resolution/refresh rate too high maybe? go into safe mode and turn down the resolution and refresh rate.
Just had my friends brother over. He says the mother board is dead, I dont know shit abotu the internals of a computer. I don’t know if a mother board even exzists.
