Computer slow........

That’s what I was hoping to see with the scan disk… Bad sectors and such…

Thanks for the help so far guys. I did the memory test and it was fine.

i do have windows vista which apparently sucks?

malwarebytes hasn’t found anything and it scanned like yesterday.

is there a way to test the hard drive?

The check disk should of did that…

If you want… PM me and I’ll re-image the PC for you with Winders 7. It’ll be a bootleg copy, but it will clean up the slowness issues.

Send me the service tag (serial number) of the PC too…

Check disk can only do so much. What brand is the hard drive? You should check for smart reported errors. I like vivard for hard drive testing, but you have to out the drive in ide or compatibility mode to use it, and either use a floppy drive or find a cd image with it.

If you don’t want to do that then usually hard drive manufacturers have drive testing tools.

I don’t know if this shows any strange events, but the spikes in the graphs are from opening yotube while also having itunes up playing a song, and I feel like the computer shouldn’t hick up from playing music and going on the web. I’m not playing a video on youtube its just the main page nothing playing, maybe an advertisement loading.

It can and it will. Loading initial elements of a highly graphic website can spike resource utilization.

Just buy a another PC or wipe/reformat this and install Win7 or newer
