after considering you need the entire drivetrain, rear end, rear suspension, gas tank, and other misc things like wiring the extra fuel level sensor in it’s totally NOT worth it unless you’re damn set on having a rare awd spyder but now your spyder weighs twice what the average car weighs
just some info i found that could be useful?
and you break twice the parts…
It was only a matter of time for people to start messing with that. Is it that hard really to find awd’s? …no. Interesting article though.
good little article about boost managment in the same site:
http://www.automotivearticles.com/Engine_Management_Choices_for_Forced_Induction_Setups.shtml
they’ve been converting fwd’s to awd’s since i’ve had my dsm (going on 5 years now) someone will write up about it it’ll be a popular site for a year then everyone forgets until someone else does it.
rock on
<—out of DSM loop
yea, thats been done for years, def. not worth it. if it was i would have done it a while ago. but its just easier to just buy an awd
whats up with your car??
heh…i always thought that kind of thing was for people who had too much money and wayyy too much time…
