First thaks to carnut, deviousTSI, garick, and ecoshardcore for helping move my shit.
Mad props to Gary for being a work harder not smarter pool guy. I am convinced it is better than changing diapers so that is why you did it.
Yup, joined the home crew. Not going to sit here an lie like other forum members, the bank owns and is loaning it to me. Did VA loan soley because I didnât want to deal with tax and withdrawl penatlies on disbersment on my Roth IRA. Not a good option, not a bad option. 5.85% is :meh: , no PMI, the only downside is 2% origination fee. Which even versus a 5% down and PMI loan (lower mortgage and higher overall payment) is lower overall monthly payment while in the 9 year minimum payment window. The math could be argueed both ways but for now the payments are lower leaving more money to pay down the principle.

already shitting up the neighborhood with FWD nissans and Dodge vans.
All I have are pre-purchase interior shots. There has been a wallpaper monster consuming all flowered walls, too much destruction in itâs wake. Too much moving clutter as well.

looking down on back living room/tv room/family room hard to tell its about 22 X 13
Basement is a blank canvas. Half of it would be great to turn into something, the other half would be nothing more than a laundry room and storage
The garage has crap in it. Iâll do before an after pics. It is finished drywall & painted and looks like a wrench was never turned in there. The attached entrance invades too much into the space, but the concrete steps will have reign for a while longer.
beautiful landscaping and great looking house. Awesome curb apeal. EXTREMELY dated inside which it sounds like your taking care of. Other then that it looks great. It wouldnt realy be yours unless you tear down some walls and do some tial work.lol
how much if you dont mind? what are the taxes like?
Because of the property & location it was about 20% higher than equivelant Cheek/Lanc/Willy home. It was the lowest priced home this new (1990) in the Elma/Marilla area. I think last season the sellers outpriced it, and this season we were able to get a deal. Sellers were really tough as hell, I had to pay closing costs, but got a riding lawn mower & snow blower and got them down a little. Our realator says he took a hit on his comission to get them to go.
The benefit of this area is the taxes. We pay 60% of equivelant (property size) Cheek/Lanc/Willy taxes or about 50% of dollar value.
Sorry to speak so cryptic, but there will be a reason for me to drive a âlesserâ car for a while longer. Bottom line, a happy wife makes for a happy husband.
It is at the mouth of a dead end street, probably 25 homes can use this or one other street to the âmainâ road. âMainâ road is adjacent to one side of the land. A little busier than âperfectly quiteâ.
