I would really like to find out where east end brewing co. is and get a growler sometime, his black strap stout is amazing.

I’m game for checking that out. I would say that eastern Pa in general is better for beer drinking. My family lives in Allentown and i’m out there a fair amount. Their are way more micro brewery’s and bars that specialize in serving micros and imports than out here. I mean here we have a couple good bars here and there, and then they charge you 5.50 for a micro from Pa. My favorite bar i have ever been to is JP O’Malley’s in allentown, great little irish bar with like 50 taps and only like 3 traditional domestics on tap. Then they have like a couple hundred different bottles. There are a ton of these types of bars out there.

i’m a fan of church brew works myself.

agree with this 100%. they also have great food as well.

Looks pretty sweet, might have to hit that up next time im up that way.

After a biergarten is installed, every week will be an organized beer fest

some eastend stuff is decent, some is nasty. just depends on what you get…

I’ve been to East End a few times for growlers. The stout, nut brown, and mr hops are all great.

Its right next to the busway on Susquehanna Street which is right off Dallas in the Pt Breeze area, pretty easy to find.

my gf goes to school up at Slippery Rock and we go there all the time, good food, great beer, but IMO nothing beats Rock Bottom and the rotating dark!

I’m up for trying this Black Stout.

Do I smell a meet brewing?

Used to hit the Sharp Edge in Friendship/Sliberty alot back in the day. I’d love to check out East End Brewing. It was just getting popular when I left the city.

Anyone ever goto the Rivertowne places? They brew some good beer.

Went and got my first growler at east end last night - Black Strap Stout, was delicious, starting april first they are adding friday growler hours also. Probably going to go back tomorrow and try the big hop!

what time you going down tomorrow? Would like to stop by, turns out I know one of the guys he brews with… regardless, I’d like to get a group of us beer drinkers together some day, and have some serious beer tasting…

This place is awesome. I know the owner and manager. Worked with them at the Log Cabin Inn. The head waitress is also a good friend of mine. I usually go up and get a growler when I come home

dee’s six pack ands dogs is always a good place to go.

Ill probably head down around 1 or 2, whenever i feel like getting up lol. Its been a long week.
