coolant on engine after boosting

I have been having a problem with my rad lately. After I boost through 2-4 gears at WOT I can smell coolant from under the hood. When I inspect it to see what the problem is I see coolant on the alternator and belts. It seems the coolant is coming out of the small round pie shaped (that’s all I could think of) hard plasitic bit just under the rad cap or the rad cap itself. It doesn’t happen any other time…just when I am boosting hard. Any ideas?? Thanks

FYI- no white smoke under boost and the oil is normal colour. The coolant was flushed and the t-stat replaced just over a month ago. All work done by Nissan.

Changing teh rad cap would probably been a good thing to do at that time as well. Check for corrosion on the tank, on the cap sealing surface.

yeah I am going to buy a new cap once I have some time off work. I am hoping that it will just be that!

maby your water pump seal is gone. Look from under your car and you will see a little hole on your water pump. If it is leaking from there you just need a new water pump. If not is want to cheak the coolent a little better. I have seen head gaskets blown that once on boost it can blow coolent through places like that seal or rad cap or overflow thingie. But ya I doubt that. Prob somthing simple.
