ls6 intake for the money is a no brainier. Its worlds better then the ls1 intake and JD, the stock 1 bar is plenty fine for up to 600rwhp capabilities in F/I. He still has alot of clearance.
If ya have em deft do em , its not gonna hurt it . If ya didn’t hqve em its not worth it . In n/a form the ls6 is worth it .
i wanted to also have the 2 bar map done then i cant watch boost on my aeroforce.
The 1 bar map doesn’t recognize positive pressures, its a vac sensor. 2 bar is minimum for F/I.
The MAF maxes out around the ~500 range. The stock OS doesn’t handle F/I very well, you need an enhanced OS to have a quality tune.
The LS6 intake is a better choice, though. It’s a 1 piece “lost casting” without EGR. The LS1 intake is 2 piece, glued together piece with an EGR hole. Not necessary, but definitely a better choice.

just wanted to add another +1 to coppola motorsports, and 88slowmarro for that matter. not many shops will call the customer preemptively when they hear about an issue (that is no fault of theirs at all!) i can’t wait to get my trans issues worked out and get this truck back on the road!
