Proposing a $4 a day fee for cars and $5.50 a day fee for trucks to drive below 86th street in Manhattan. For those of you who don’t know the city, 86th runs right through the middle of Central Park.
Do you think this will actually start limiting traffic or just a way to make more money since people who drive will pay it anyway.
in London it caused something like a 20% reduction in traffic and 15% in pollution.

Intresting.
I just look at this as, "Im paying $30+ a day to park my car (plus $4.50 already if you are coming over a bridge), am I really gonna take the subway to save another $4 bucks.
