Could my A/f ratio be this much off

He dynoed 330 RWHP with basically the same setup

Could my A/f ratio be that off? i run a VERY similar combo and i only dynoed 270rwhp and 302 rwtq on a dynojet

how many miles on ur motor and how many miles on his?maybe ur motor is showing its age i have no clue

first of his intake is a higher RPM intake then yours
second his heads have port work
third his cam i think is more aggressive then yours
fourth your A/F is rich on top end

so chad your car does have some more in it with a leaner tune but your cam is small for those heads, and when you got a bigger cam[as in duration] you will then need to open up your lower intake. right now if you went a smaller valve size you would gain more power at the moment but when youre boosted those valves will help you out.

also our ford motors like a dual pattern cam. they like more lift on the exhaust side then the intake. but with your cam its a good one for the supercharger

do you think he can fix it with the FPR, or would that make it too lean elsewhere?

Depends what his fpr is set at now. 11:1 afr’s are relatively conservative.

I’d be worried that you’d run even leaner below 3000 if you pulled some fuel pressure out.

some type of afc may be able to help chad but I don’t think apex can run 8 cylinder motors.

with no boost your af is rich for sure up top. the redline is 13.5:1 which is about where a higher HP all motor car wants to stay from what I have read so you are almost 2 full points rich

It would be really easy if you’re carbed. If you can find a decent fuel hack aka afc you can lean it out some.

Sounds like its time to put the supercharger on and get it tuned then

if he would get either a PMS or a tweezer then he could dial it in alot better. for since he really has nothing to tune the car by besides timing and FPR then hes kinda where he is. now if he was spraying then that rich part wouldnt be so bad but since hes all motor that motor is falling on its ass some on topend

When it was on the dyno, I said a little sniff of NOS would help out that rich condition. :boink :naughty:

i dont think he could handle the juice  or maybe he loves the words NAWZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I would back the fuel pressure off a few psi and see what happens. If it pings, then u know its too lean in the mid.
