Looks a little busy, but not too bad. If you’re custom making it though, why not make it something personal instead of more lotus flair? Your band’s name? You’re name? Lotus logo morphing into a VW logo?
How about you just piss off the lotus forms by using that paint on truck bed liner stuff? 
I thought about making it personal, but couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t super corny. I can also PRINT the logo on in silver, which would increase longevity greatly.
