That pistol grip shifter I have is killing me. I think I’m going to go back to the regular ball.
Plus the damn thing was loosening up on me and twisting while I was shifting… Then after the race I found the nut that is supposed to go on the bottom of the grip along with some locktite still in the package. I guess I forgot to put that on while installing:lol:

ugh lol the stock leather ball shift knob is so terrible…
Delrin shift knobs are where it’s at, and the leather hurst knob is probably the next best thing.

I have good luck with my leather molded “H” knob. also the stock round. The pistol grip I think are only good in you have a faceplate t56. Its no good for a 2-3 not lifting.

drill mods, with adj master. Catch point high, but with 1/2 of dead pedal for full dis engagement. Good clean fluid (val SYC 3-4), pedal bleed with the car level. Ive came a long way shifting my t56. You have to have the car setup, its really imporant for not tearing shit up.
I think the shifter is 100% driver prefance. Theres cars like Erics camaro: RPM build t56. Trex/heads boltson that I did. Made like 470 NA mike tuned it. I hate his stock shifter. Stock like long rubber base, S handle. But he can no lift WOT 2-3-4 like a champ, its weird
