I am no expert by any means, but I was always told that Ethyl Ester creatine is actually more effective than monohydrate. From what I understand, ethyl ester helps in that you gain less water weight than with monohydrate. I was also told that you can take a thermo (fat burner like hydroxycut) with ethyl ester, where with monohydrate you can’t because thermos cancel out the effect of monohydrate.

Again, I am no expert, but this is what I have been told by a few heavy weight lifters I know.

The biggest difference between Ethyl Ester Creatine and Creatine monohydrate is the absorption rate. EEC is absorbed up to 10 times faster (claimed) than the monohydrate version. In addition to being more soluble in water than monohydrate, EEC is FAT soluble.

Creatine is very important to replenishing ATP. ATP is the primary energy producing molecule for bursts of vigorous muscle contraction.

If you are going to lift weights or train in a manner that rapidly and repeatedly drains your ATP levels, your body will respond to a creatine supplement.

People that do not see the benefits of creatine supplementation probably do not or have never trained in this fashion. Lifting light weights for high reps without even coming close to muscle failure or jogging/running long distances does not deplete your stores of ATP very quickly, nor does it drain them completely.

HIT training to failure, full body circuit training, sprints, and interval runs are activities that deplete ATP very quickly. Replenishing ATP quickly allows for increased sets, longer ALL OUT EFFORT, more reps to failure, and more intense interval runs.

I didn’t notice any gain from mono, N0-xplode was awesome, but $$.

if you take it properly and the right amount, the results will be great. you only need around 5-10 grams per day, and there is no loading peroid needed.

when ur new to takin creatine your suppose to load up on it by taking a few days to consume multiple servings of around 5 grams. then you can go take two 5 gram servings daily.

i didnt notice anything after about a month and a half…but probly should have kept on it.

but nitro explosion is insane and does work well. the creatine dose is mild at 2 grams, but its the energy it gives you that really helps your performance.

The energy was a selling point for me. When I was light, I didn’t eat as much and felt the effects. When I changed jobs, I was able to eat when I wanted and the combination of that and the creatine completely turned me around.

Since i quit it, you can manipulate your diet to create the same effects I remember from the creatine. Just adding a big basket of ramdom fruit amazed me. Thats been a while now though… now im just a lazy fat ass. :sadwavey:
