He’s already got the 5.0 V8 part.
Looks like all that’s really got is a S/C DOHC 4.6L, Cowl Hood, and Silver de-badged Cobra R’s. It’s doable.

Ongoing since 1978
43,000 made. 43,000 sold. not sure how that was a flop
GTO was a gateway car, for newer RWD GM platform vehicles such as the: Camaro, Impala, G8, CTS, El Camino/Sprint etc etc
It was in production since 2001, it was time to kill off the platform after 6 years of running.
i dont care what it was, almost everything ive read about it, ppl complained about the styling. overall it dissappointed customers. im not sayin it was a bad car, i like them but they arent as cool as they couldve been and in general, i think it was a let-down.
Actually, if you think about it the GTO was perfect for PA. It’s beefy cast-iron suspension parts were designed for bumpy Australia roads. Styling for the Pontiac division was a little less dramatic, rather it was more Chevy like. If it got Chevy badges and a name like Chevelle SS would it have been accepted any better?
