custom box

suggestions?

theres plenty of room in there lol i had 3 12’s in the sentra all in seperate boxes lol they were packed in there

If you angle the 12’s then you can fit them easier. Plus have you seen a s13 trunk? I can fit MAYBE 1/2 a dead hooker in there :rofl

you could fit 2 of me in the trunk, i know cause i have to get in the trunk to do anything to my amp in the back seat (subs are on back seat and the amp is mounted on back lol :clap

well, i imagine you have some kind of budget constraints, so i can make some suggestions based on that. you could get one amp for the sub and one for your speakers or u could get the kind that can power everything at once. i can suggest a few things, but most of the time i dont base it on price, i base it on specs or personal experience and those tend to get costly, but im sure we can find something nice

well paychecks usually are around 150$ a week :frowning: but i like to take one whole paycheck to get something, so it would have to be something i can afford in one paycheck so like under 300$ i havent upgraded my int. speakers yet so im not gonna worry about an amp for them, and i wanna get the most ammt of power to my subs as possible (JL w1v2’s)

Jesus… 3-4k for a system That is absolutely redic!!! I could build a 10 second Honda for that

then you dont want to look at my expences, sir :lol

okay, sure. not a problem. for about 300 you can find a nice amp that will have good power and will actually sound clean, so once you get to a point where you will want to upgrade interior speakers you could keep that amp and no worry about it sounding like shit compared to the rest of the equipment. baby steps, brother, baby steps. I didnt build my setup overnight.

right, to me subs/amp comes before int. speakers lol i gotta get my body work taken care of (just put new fenders on) and get the rust fixed then paint, then i will be able to do my exhaust/sound system better, should only be a few weeks though, doing shit right the first time really pays off and im glad im not jew’ing this car

who wants to know ? :ninja

singh i have heard you ARE good with wood :tongue

yea i guess im a man of the trade

but fuh serious Vadim DEF knows his shit, so he pretty much handle this whole topic by himself lol…

i usually just build my own boxes , make them really thick and shit… but w/e i aint gonna get into it, vadim said enough

you know, a nissan like urs is quite well suited for sound actually. youve got plenty of room upfront in the fenders. between the body and wheels, so you could cut out some floor sections and make ridiculously good sounding kick panels. i have nowhere near that much room in my car upfront, so im sticking to doors.

:rofl…and i see this haha

well im not lookin to do anything crazy like fiberglass kick pannels lol, just replacing door speakers and rear deck speakers, upgrading tweeters and maybe adding 2 more speakers by the back seats (may have to fiber that in though) just throwin stuff up in the air

theres also smaller things you can do now to make the equipment u have now sound a bit better.

Wait… your not Jew’ing the car?

ohh whoa whoa this isnt a jew car… well that changes the whole picture

hes doing what he can. not all of us need what ive built in mine for example. most of you guys will not even bother. hes doing a pretty average setup, judging from waht he said. nothing what most of you’d call “absurd”

lol not really, i think 2 out of the 4 speakers that are in there are torn and any bass you can hear the cone waiting to shoot out lol (cone is torn from the flex ring thingy) so i need upgrade lol

:frowning:

:rofl

hmmm, i see, i see. can i make a suggestion then?
