this would sound MUCH nicer. those can work in the back.

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15366 this would be a great set upfront

one of those two sets of pioneers you posted.

though i prefer infinity. i used to have a set of kappas and those sounded GREAT.

this thread has way too much info in it, and its NOT going offtopic like a shift topic is supposed to go

im gonna have to go on a rampage

:ahh:ahh:ahh:ahh:ahh
holy crap an informative thread appears! OH NOES! run for your lives! LOL :lol

hmm, idk i guess i can give them a try, little more pricey but if u think they will be better then i guess i cant argue lol

this thread is all srs bzns

off to work ill be at the lot tonight

100-150 range, like you said. but they do sound quite nice. if u can, save up for say 2 months and get the set of perfects, but the ones i linked you to are a good set.

A good ported box built to spec for those subs with a trim panel and stuff will probably run you around $350, at least that’s what I’d quote.

Gotta pay to play. I’m sure you could get it done cheaper, but it may not be done right.

FYI, a random pre-fabbed sealed box is ~100, and they are total junk…

Go to audio obsessions, tell him Jim from East Coast sent you, maybe he’ll give you a deal…

allright, well i re-tuned everything and it sounds decent for now, i just need a new amp asap, im getting all sorts of interference with my brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights, than i need this fuggin box out of my back seats haha

Probably a shitty ground connection or you ran your RCA wires alongside some power wires.

possibly. maybe something is tapped into a wire its not supposed to be tapped into or something

I’ve built MANY, many boxes, i just got sick of it.

And I’ve got a few 5 1/4 coax and 6 1/2 comp sets, let me know what you are looking for and they will be cheap, id rather move them then have them sitting in my spare room forever haha

i need 6-3/4’’ :frowning:

Actually, I have a set of soundstream picasso’s that are 6.5’’, you could make a trim ring (or im sure vlad could make you a set in about 10 min. But they are 2 1/2’’ deep or so. They are pretty nice, and can be had online for $150, Id sell em for like $75

what does everyone else think of those^^^^^???

seems not bad. i wouldnt use those because they have silk tweeters. i personally prefer metallic tweeters, but thats just my presonal preference. i like highs to be bright. some people dont, because htey say theyre harsh.

Ive found metallic tweeters to be more harsh on my ears then the silk’s imho

testing my sigs so u all better stfu cuz i pwn

lol
