Here are some of the thousands of pictures I took on my trip to Irwindale recently, It was absolutely crazy being able to see all these drivers as well as meet alot of them and see their machines in the pits and in action. Enjoy!

March 9-10th is the first event for D1 USA … I think I might be heading down for that weekend … It will be a little birthday present for me
If you go … make sure you get some good passes so you can see everything and be on the track or else you will miss out on alot of cool stuff

Also that baby blue corolla and that green fc just got their d1 license that weekend, do you know if they came close to qualifying?
They both didi really well! cant remember how far they went but im pretty sure that they were both out in the 1st round on saturday. this was just a amazing weekend!!! the biggest difference ws the level of japnese drivers compared to the u.s drivers. after the 1st round there was only 2 u.s drivers still in it. the one driver that really stood out was the diver of the purple ae86 from ireland. only 21 years old and made it far! such a talented driver!!!
media passes through a friend who went along on the trip as well … its awesome to be able to be on the track and they take care of alot of other things as well …
the baby blue corolla made it through amateur qualifying and professional qualifying as well which was pretty amazing but the green fc did not make it through pro qualifying … there was alot of awesome amateur drivers and vehicles in there as well as quite a few people who should have never been there and they met their end with the wall or just made themselves look stupid on their judged runs and practice … its getting pretty big in the US though and alot of cars have a ton of sponsors and some neat equipment on their cars
nah that guy with the CRKAi wheels was no good …just as well as the black/green falken car that was busted up as well … at the end of qualifying on friday they both went balls out and hit the walls on the banked turn1 at high speeds … both of them were having car issues earlier as well though that mgiht have attributed to it though

it good to see that they dont let the fact that they are amazing drivers get to their head like people here do…except ernie fixmer had a bad attitude! lol
hahahaha yeah … alot of the drivers were stressed out about fixing their cars or else just wanting to relax and soo many people were going up to themand asking for signatures and pictures , I bet that took a toll on them over the course of the weekend …
