dcc question

So I got the unit and all kinds of sensors and stuff and followed the guide on nico for the most part but i got a few questions for the experts on here.

1- Do I still need the full cold motor or is it garbage?

2- The climate control in the car now has a sub harness that connects to the full cold motor, full cold motor relay, some kind of micro switch near gas pedal.

I removed this subharness and dcc still seems to work fine.

3- Is the sensor that mounts near the fan resistor needed? People call it a thermo amp?

4- When the dcc is working and I press auto it always turns on the a/c even if the temp is set to the hottest.

5- The mix motor mount to where the cable use to be but in it’s default position should it hold the air box to hot or cold?

Also Does anyone know about how to wire up the thermotransmitter for thr engine colant temp reading what wires on the dcc are these?

Doesn’t anyone know jack about this stuff ? Ok forget those questions how about this one. Everything works fine but when i turn on my lights the unit lights dim. why?
