Sounds like a pretty incompetent dealer if they don’t realize the car had a $5,000 difference. Not to mention, they should’ve never taken the car back in the first place, unless theres a “cooling off period” in VA.

I understand wanting to seek damages… I’d be very embarrassed if at your error, you had me handcuffed, arrested, and inconvenienced for hours out of my life with virtually no LEGAL leg to stand on.

Millions? eh… probably not even near that number. But its principal, ef that dealer. I’m not going to sue them for 10k and walk away with 3k, I’ll sue them for 3 million and hopefully pay off my over priced traverse, my home, and my childrens college tuition.

Dealer fucked up, so the customer get’s arrested? Then the dealer tries to apologize after arresting the guy…pffft I’d be pissed. Hope the guy wins and gets a good chunk of change. Not so much so he’s “rich”, but just to prove what an asshole the dealership was.
