they just seem to be too large in diameter, a smaller pair of lights might be the ticket to get this look without them being out of scale
I think I will just save them for later use on another project.

Ya know, if you wouldn’t have mentioned they’re too large, I probably wouldn’t have made that conclusion - especially in black. Looks solid in the profile view.

I have to agree with this as well. Painted black they look much better. And I think from the front with them painted black it won’t look bad at all. It’s the side profile where you can really see how huge they are. Still worth trying though just to see how it grows on you for a few days.
