k so i bought a new deck…(Pioneer DEH-P7800MP) and i looked at the install instructions and tried to do it myself. i have the piece for the deck surround and the wiring harness but yah i suck at mounting it!
so got it to work but i dont know how to mount it well. does anyone want to lend a hand?
if nobody can then ill take it to best buy and let them do it for me.

well i work ALL day say like 12 hrs or so. so i wont be able to… im going to make an attempt again tonight and try and mount it properly! thank tho. ill let you guys kno if i cant get it bc im handicaped.
woho, got my deck installed in 30 min. i was retarted and tryed to mount it using the “din” thing(that metal bracket… anywho i did it without it and used the mounting pieces and mounts prefectly + a little of my own medicine to help prevent any bums trying to jack the HU. thanks for the offer tho ryan. always seem to be there for me when im lost with my car.

I’d get a HU, but that is just another reason for some dumb shmuck to go smashy on your window.
isnt the HU useless w/o the face plate? or can any faceplate work aslong as its the same model? i will just hang something over the dash and when i get a sub, im going to disengage the electric trunk release(take out fuse and unplug on the back of the switch hehe)
im going to invest in a car alarm that sound off inside and outside the car so even when u touch the car it goes off. and its so loud that its unbearable to whoever is in the car!(in other words it will drive them so crazy they cant stay in the car)
OR i will try and wire the body of my car to some power source and make it electric! so i can zap anyone who even touches the car when its activated. lol
or blow all your fuses and electronics…
new head unit looks nice, I like the black on black. How much did that set you back?
My head unit is silver and I hate that it doesn’t match. But came with the car. it works, and is better than stock so until it breaks my dash ain’t matching! Gotta save my pennies

well i got a sweet deal on that deck its like $540 new and i bought it off a guy on the vboard for like 325$
-i got the deck which is 2 months old
-the nissan deck surround for an aftermarket deck
-wiring harness for sentra
-some wires for attaching to amp
-and a new antena cord which i didnt use.
haha w/e i thought the neons were a little custom touch, not to much rice.
i dont care i like them lightens up the dash a night nicely.
what are some easy ways to keep my HU secure into my car?
You know if its bolted to the metal frame you will be fine… Evan at best it would take me about 2-3 min to get the deck out with using a sledge hammer or something… If someone really wants it they will get it.
