Dedicated Track Day thread.

To all of those asking what do I need/when can I go/who’s going or parts for sale this thread will serve as an answer.

I’m still trying to untie some of my funds to get out for a day, I doubt I’ll make enough funds for the arrive and drive day, but I’m sure I’ll make it out to Tony’s or Penguin this year.

Right now I’m just restoring the bikes to running condition which is the priority.

Rocket how did it go with your new back protector?

Also here is a track day calendar for all to see

Where are you going in May?

*insert a pathetic financial excuse as to why I won’t make it.

I think it changed over from the last time I glanced at it

Edit:

Looks like some good deals going on with Pre Reg on NJTH

150$ if I read that right

^Thanks

That Monticello track looks like it would be fun and it’s probably the closest?

$175 seems reasonable assuming there aren’t like hidden membership fees.

NJMP + :ninja:ninja:ninja:ninja:ninja:ninja:ninja

Mike, Just so you know need to be a TPM memeber to get the $175, non member is $225 I believe. Monti will the closest to us. You can also sign up TPM’s track day at Tony’s as they recently became partners.

There are east coast events in , NHMS, NJMP, Monti,

Don’t forget Tony’s Track days, I’ll deff be running at least one day with them this year. They were great to deal with last year.

I was planning to do track days this year but i think ill wait till next year after i find another bike to do track days with and buy the Leather Racing Suit

Man up.

Gotta find Myself another bike before doing track days being my 2001 gsxr 600 is my Daily Driver

Don’t listen to any track suggestion I could possibly offer you and you should do fine on the day :lol

Aaron (rocketpunch) and Brian (neo) did just fine.

Vlad can u even touch the ground on a bike lol

While still on the bike or while sliding next to it? He’s done both. I’ve had a knee down and I’m sure aaron will very shortly as well now that he’s off the 250

Come on russian, spellin my name wrong after how many years?

I’ve had it as “y” at first, but then I second guessed myself and thought that in my phone is was wrong too so I changed it to a more common spelling, since most of other “Brians” I know constantly correct me when I spell it with a “y”.

Yes in more ways than one. Flatfooting is rarely needed and I don’t use it even when i have the ability, I like to keep at least one foot on the pedal.

Tony’s track days were great, I have nothing but good things to say about them, especially the customer service. Tony signed up and posted just for the few members that were interested at the time.

Ah I totally forgot about that, he also gave me a discount on the second track day I did with tthem since the first one was raining. Deff aboveand beyond customer service, I can’t wait to deal with them again this year.

Yeah, I must say TTD is very well run and NHMS is a great circuit with a good mix of corners. I had a real blast on the second day (not that I didn’t on the first one), but that will be my last time riding to any trackday…I wanna kill myself on the way back…

:rofl i totally forgot about that, driving along thinking Hmmm That looks a bit like Aaron on his 250 ahead of me. Crazy bastard
