my buddy just called he is on his way home from rochester and his del sol is over heating. 1.6d 5speed. said there is coolent in the tank. what should he be looking for?
he said the radiator feels not hott to the touch. Im thinking the thermastat is stuck closed?

yeah , sounds like it is. Just be careful when you take the cap off or this can happen
dont most thermostats have are designed to get stuck open these days…but anyway has he had a fluid flush lately…air in the system
thats what the problem with mine was… then the radiator sprung a leak… havent replaced it yet
