for the vette I striped the wax and washed it down using megs nxt. Clay bar with medium cut clay. Rewashed it - rotary buff everything in three stages - varying compounds dependant on how bad the scratches were. applied paint cleaner glazed and sealed it. since i stripped it of al its wax i built the protective coating back up starting with carnuba wrking twards synthetic wax and finishing with a nano.
