since all these detailing pics are being posted up, I decided to post up some of my own that i did a couple days ago.i think it came out pretty :pimp:
the first couple are before and the rest are the after product
I click the first 3 and was kinda like
wtf?
then the last 2 look very nice.
word first few look like he washed the car with sandpaper, came out really nice though.
came out good, nice job
looking pretty good there:pimp:
for the vette I striped the wax and washed it down using megs nxt. Clay bar with medium cut clay. Rewashed it - rotary buff everything in three stages - varying compounds dependant on how bad the scratches were. applied paint cleaner glazed and sealed it. since i stripped it of al its wax i built the protective coating back up starting with carnuba wrking twards synthetic wax and finishing with a nano.
Wow. very nice.
its normal to layer waxes. i just felt like expiramenting with wax layering but ur right, traditionally show cars go from nano synth to carnuba but as u can see it created the same results. im interested to see how long this variation will last.
yea I was think, holy swirls this kid sucks, haha than I realized there were before and afters. not bad at all
Yes, because the synthetic can’t “cross link” to carnauba. Also, synthetics are widely held to be more viscous and “fill” better.
But… at the end of the day the car shines or it doesn’t, and that car certainly shines very well.
Yeah, I figured it to be some sort of experiment Let us know how it goes as far as durability.
very nice
any of you guys have experiance with polymers? I used this stuff called “liquid glass” and got some very impressive results from it. I know it says that you cant use wax with it as it wont bond though
yeah its older detailing product line - which product of liquid glass did you use? Polymers are commonly used in synthetic waxes. i havent seen this stuff used lately.
gotta look at the can… it’s at my parents house.
but it layed almost like a layer of clear coat on it. very smooth (supposed to cure it in the sun too)
I had around 15 layers on my mark VIII and boy did it shine
There are a lot of synthetics on the market today.
HAHA oh shit!
i was about to call you the SWIRLMASTER!
very nice job. looks like new!
