I have read Heatw’s tutorial on how to wire the s13 climate control unit but i was wondering if the s14 installation is alot different. I have heard mixed things on nico and was wondering if anyone here has installed digital climate on their s14. Also what are the parts needed for the s14 digi climate control? same as s13?
S14 digital climate control is different. It all depends how well you can read those schematics that are in the FSM (JDM s14 and USDM S14). You will have to solder all of the wires that come off the control unit to your stock harness, add a few missing ones and so on.
You will need the 3 sensors (cabin temp. sensor, ambient temp. sensor and the sunload sensor), you’ll need the air/mix door motor, blower motor resistor (or thermister).
That’s all I can think off of top of my head right now.
I do know that the S13 digital climate control is a lot simpler.
