Dipstick problem (SR20)

Okay ever since I bought this car I’ve been wondering what’s up with my dipstick. I believe SR’s take 4.4L of oil. I put in 4L at my last oil change and it still reads that it’s over full. I’ve never seen the oil level on the part of the dipstick it should be at cause I sure as hell am not going to run less than 4L of oil.

Any ideas? Maybe someone tomorow will let me compare my dipstick to theirs to make sure mine is an SR one.

Umm an SR is less than 4 litre’s.

3.8 in mine and mine reads full. It has less oil capacity stock than a KA.

That is why oil changes with HIGH quality oil are important

3.7L with filter change… Over filling is suppose to be pretty bad.
