i dont think the sheetmetal will show that much of a gain in power unless its on a full blown race car with huge cam and big compression where it needs to rev over 7000rpms. then i can see it making some bigger numbers over stand LSx intakes.
but for most applications, i’d say lsx manifold with direct port is just about as good as it gets
i talked to a few people and they told me if your motor doesn’t spin over 8k its not worth it…you will loose to much low end torque so you will need to spin the shit out of the motor on the big end
i want to do a direct port nitrous setup on my HSR. i know my motor cant handle the shot now, maybe just a 100 shot, but i think i want to now build a nitrous motor down the road. spray it with a 250 shot
all forged small block, gen I. either a 350 or 383, but i was considering a 383 so i can make more power on motor, but it be abit more difficult to tune i think. Just would take alot more time to do right but i probly could get it close. i’m just beginning this tuning stuff
yep. i was even thinkin of a nitrous cam too…even tho i’ll probly be off the bottle most of the time while i drive so i wanted as much n/a power as possible but still use a cam with enough duration split for nitrous. Those XFI cams is what i’m considering for n/a power…else i’m thinkin one of the custom combination motorsports nitrous grinds
