Disposing of a shed, Amherst: Post 44 = new shed

Looks good, I wouldn’t bury the base with to much dirt, wood and covered with dirt doesn’t mix to well.

If you put some sort of vapor barrier like a Tyvek or rubber flashing you could get away with it.

its… plastic?? :frowning: ew

if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?

Cool shed, I’m curious on the price too…PM me if you can, thanks.

he said where he got it… really now…

I really like the over all look, looked pretty simple to install.

Yeah, it was $1000. It came in two huge boxes about 8’x3’x2’ that took 4 guys to load into my truck. Not sure why moffitt said “ew” to plastic because it won’t rust or dent like steel and it won’t rot or need painting or staining like wood.

It wasn’t difficult to build, just a shitload of screws (probably 400+) and important that you get a good level base to start with. It would be impossible for one person. Three seemed to work well because two could be working on a step while the third was reviewing the instructions and getting the parts ready for the next step.

My friends and I are out on Rushford lake all the time during the summer tubing and swimming off his boat.

Bumping this thread as Im going to be picking up a shed to empty out the garage of lawn equipment. wonder how its held up after a couple years.

Looks like my sisters Little Tike playhouse but I think it had better options.
