The use the normal basecoat and reducer and put it in a can so its really the same stuff I would shoot from a paint gun. I just reread your OP and saw you got it from Schenectady AB, they are good shit, now i get it.
Also the clear did come out damn good, def not some duplicolor jump off, I will have to look into that stuff for tiny projects where its a pain in the ass to load a gun with clear. :thumbup
You could realistically spray paint a mirror or other small part of a car as a cheap repair. I wouldn’t recommend doing a quarter panel on a Bimmer this way but a new bump strip on a Hyundai is certainly a possibility.
Not to mention if I messed it up I would have more argument to buy an LS6. But unfortunately my talent prevailed
nice man! schenectady autobody isnt that great, ive had some bad experiences there, id recommend albany auto body. I wouldve used a plastic adhesion promoter along with the sanding, but came out good none the less!
As an Albany resident I usually go to Albany Auto Body but for some reason they don’t do the custom mixed spray cans. I have only had good experiences with either tho. For anything else, Albany it is.
