teh calipers are old so theres some pit in them dont think its b/c of bad quality

good thing about powercoating is its fluid and chip resistence

how big is your oven, i want to get my whole blazer powdercoated!

 After curing before customer pickup

how do you know how long it should be baked for?

yeah those were mine, ended up having Jay paint them, and they came out good. Although powder coat is much better. Nice job on the brakes and such.

whats the difference between the PC that can handle 1200* and the coatings they put on turbo manifolds? are they at all related, or are they different animials all together?

 to a nice write up

I’m not sure what the exact coating is that’s applied to turbo manifolds, but i’m sure they are designed with the potential of reaching 1500°F+ which is beyond the capabilities of current powder. Most coatings like that are sprayed on as a plasma and are usually ceramic based.

So, no they are not related at all. Kinda like a “jet hot” coating.

what is the longest item you can coat?

The inside dimensions of the oven are aprx. 4’x4’x6’

hey guys, other than wheels, calipers and the usual engine parts, what else can be powder coated that would look nice? any ideas for a cool project?
