yep that’s what i’m thinkin…
nope…u just check transfer box on the green sheet…and as long as u know the plate number it will be fine…birng ur old reistration car from the car u are putting away…just dont drive the car u are taking the plates from incase u get pulled over on the way home…
i think you can go through the express line for that too.
no 4 hour waits FTW!
i dunno…think x-prsss s for renewals and such…there is a lil more involved in a transfer
You’ll need the green form for the new registration (winter car) and the yellow form for the tax you have to pay based on the receipt you show them. Those forms MAY be downloadable (not sure) or are available at the booth at the dmv. You won’t need to bring in the plates, just a copy of your current registration from the summer car, and also a copy of your new insurance card for the winter car. Not a photocopy, an actual copy that your insurance gives you. Also the title too.
you DON’T need to bring the plates
all you need is:
bill of sale
proof of insurance
title of new vehicle
statement of transaction ( yellow sheet )
vehicle registration/title application ( white/green sheet )
driver license and other form of I.D ( SS, Credit Card, etc. )
