Do you feel bad for these types of stories?

A group of teens went hiking in Iran… with these countries on the news and all the problems in that area, do you feel bad for these people who decide to take these trips into a known problem area?

Nope.

Here’s a good idea, I’m going to take my dog for a walk down the fruit belt of buffalo, at night.

I’ll call you when I get back.

they were certainly not teens. they should have known what they were getting into

Shane Bauer, 27; his girlfriend, Sarah Shourd, 31; and Josh Fattal, 27, were arrested in July for illegally entering Iran from Iraq’s Kurdistan region.

Sucks for them, but they shouldn’t have been doing something that was clearly illegal.

The article indicates that they crossed the unmarked Iran border while hiking in Iraq. Looks like it could have been a mistake. But I agree that they new the risks when they started off… It’s always someone elses fault…

Not bad at all. With all the places in this world to hike that aren’t bordering insane countries like Iran it’s their fault.

I still say they were not “hikers” and were probably either smugglers or CIA/similar agency.

They shouldn’t be in Iraq either.

These people, and missionaries that love to go to shitty parts of the world and then get taken, an threatened with free head removal get no tears from me. FUCKING IDIOTS.

These mother fuckers have no grasp that there are evil people in the world.

LMAO

I have to work there its not that bad most of the time. I would bring a dog heavier than me though.

No, not at all

I feel bad for their families, not them.

I feel bad for their children.

I feel bad for Fox News.
