im so glad my “fun” vehicle is my jeep. The offroading world is about hanging out and having fun with what you have. Instead of going by " time" and “i have $XXXX into my car” we see who’s at the end of the trail when we get there with the least amount of damage :slight_smile: and when I’m done climbing mountains and parking on my friends 40 inch tires I go home and hop in my DD G35

I will be the first one to say i hate most honda kids because they all fucking suck. I hate the car scene with a passion thats why i just spend most of my time talking to ppl who actually race there cars and understand whats going on. Do i love my car? for sure, being able to beat the piss out of it for this long with out actually hurting anything to bad is incredible to me.

Im in for racing anything and everything it doesnt matter the least bit to me. You could drive a fbod or a neon if youre out there racing it, cool, ill help ya in any way i can. And newman at the same time i understand you wanting a dope car you can beat the piss out of at any point thats fine i want that to. Saying how you bought a nice car so you are cool is a fggt move though. I could buy your car tomorrow and be bored with it by the end of the day, just doesnt do anything for me.

You don’t know what you are talking about unless you have extended experience behind the wheel of a sorted fwd car making power. Your average front wheel drive Honda on the street pump gas doesnt make enough torque for serious torque steer. If you are torque steering all over the place sub 450 wheel there is something wrong with your setup. Even at those power levels the powerband and torque is very manageable and IMO is much easier to drive at the limit than a high powered rwd turbo car.
I will say this… I could push my turbo EG at 440/270 much more comfortably on the street than I could my S2K which makes around the same power… street tire vs street tire. Going into a tight sweeper and laying into it with a laggy turbo rwd car making decent power you better have your diapers on and be ready… when the torque hits and the rear all of a sudden wants to come around two hands on the steering wheel. A sorted fwd car will be much easier to drive at the limit in that scenario. Keep in mind I am not a pro driver and this is only my opinion… but I am pretty comfortable in the S2K and I have seen civic taillights shrink in da twiztieZ. The rwd is more fun… and more slow. I had no real understeer issues with my EG and that was on bullshit KYBs and Ground Controls. You want understeer go drive a WRX.
My Evo VIII at 300 whp just springs and alignment was an amazing car handling wise… it was also boring and woulda got its ass handed to it by the EG on any road course. There is something to be said about a light competent tossable chassis with power… fwd or not. Especially when you are walking all over “superior” cars.
PS any FWD car other than a Honda is gay. :eekdance:
