Do you constantly stalk the forum for viper posts or do you have some form of viper gaydar that lets you know when one is mentioned?
why is there hate for the Viper? jw
LOL, something tells me I spend less time stalking the forum for Viper posts than you do stalking me for my posts. Find something else to do.
Lucky for me the only time I find this website is when I have nothing going on… which isnt often. Otherwise, the rampant stupidity might actually start to affect me.
Because some people on this website are incredibly lame, and bandwaggons are commonplace?
I was thinking the same thing lol
And on a serious note [sarcasm]I am surprised that such a high quality car at a fair price for what you get is going to get canned[/sarcasm]
:mamoru: you are such a tool. Anytime there is a thread that mentions the viper you magically resurface to argue your case about how good they are. So either by stroke of luck you decide to check here when there is a post, or more than likely you just have “nothing going on” since no one wants to buy overpriced viper parts from a stroke like you.
I find it astonishing how tied to the Viper you are. I mean, I love Lotus cars, really I do. But man, you get really hurt by these comments. Almost as if you personally designed and built the car from concept to production. Let it go man.
 to 2TurboZ’s sig addition.
WRONG! GM never went back to the 'ring. Jan Magnussen took him personal ZR1 to the track to see what kind of times he could rip off in it. Big difference between someone taking their personal car to the track for a few laps and a team of engineers renting it for a day to get a max fast lap… just stating facts.
“compensation cars” I know in your little socialist world we should all be required by the Gov’t to be driving around in BMW 3 series, but I think most of us enjoy havign freedom of choise. And if those choises include a 2 seat 600hp roadster or a 505hp 2 seat coupe that gets 28mpg on the highway THAT is what is good for this country. Sorry if it doesn’t suit you.
I know the article was old but here’s a newer one:
Says Dodge attempted to sell the design of the viper…
The 10 cylinder beast will be missed!
Look like the article is from the same time this stuiped post was started:
Meh I like the Viper, it certainly is a preferred alternative to the corvette, which is a piece of junk IMO, both are unnecessary and overpriced but still, i’d rather the viper stick around. Glad that article is outdated.
FWIW, the C7 Vette plans are on the back burner right now too. Of course they’re not going to stop production of the vette, but I hope Dodge doesn’t abandon the Viper.
How is the vette junk OR overpriced?
ZR1 destroys most ferrari’s and Lambos in any racing environment and you say its over priced :picard:
Neither the corvette or the viper are overpriced, duh. Both companies stepped up big time in the last couple of years. Even the base models (ie Z51) run 12s and pull a g on the skidpad. I think it’s silly to can the car in it’s prime but I guess they know what they’re doing.
oh wait. ;D
calling it junk is me being biased, I find them ugly and i’m just not a fan of chevy in general, so ignore the junk part, overpriced however…
Corvette Coupe 1LT(most basic model) - 6.2L 430HP engine - approx 50 grand
Dodge Challenger SRT8(best model) - 6.1L 425HP engine - just over 40 grand
Passat CC VR6 4motion(best model) - 3.6L 280HP engine with peppy awesome of a VR6 - approx 40 grand
just a few examples of cars I would ather have, for a lot less
:picard:
everyones entitled to their own opinion, if they hate it or love it who cares, but for people who do like it its a shame, and its a shame in the sense that a great sportscar would get put away for good, its set a lot of standards and besides the mclaren f1 which NO ONE has, the viper was the closest thing, and i believe it is, to an exotic american car (not including the ford gt)
saleen s7?
the designer of the mclaren f1 was south african and the mclaren company is UK based. I don’t get any of your post =\
