Deposits have been known to run from $29 all the way up to $49,999. Thats just my experience though. I’m sure there have been less, and I’m sure there have been more.
Shade tree dealers keep deposits unless there is a really good excuse on NOT to give you the deposit back. EX: There was two or three customers who wanted the vehicle at the same time you did…now they lost those people because of the deposit you left committing to purchasing that car. I would of wrote a second order on that car regardless. If you have to give the deposit back…the salesperson was not doing his/her job in the beginning. As you can see you still have questions unanswered that your sales person fail to find out, leaving doughs in your head. It all comes back to the shitty salesperson… the end.
PS I drove that car and its solid. Customer traded it and purchase a Outback or some shit. I was thinking about buying it before I got the 335i.
335i >* lol
Yeah I drove it twice now and it seems real good.
It’s pretty much a done deal I’m going there at 10 tomorrow.
I’m concerned about the battery though with the low mileage, probably infrequent use. I think I’m going to ask them to put a new battery in it, I don’t think that’s to much to ask on a 4 year old car…The first time I saw the car it was like 10pm and I was driving by, so I stopped. The doors were open (oops??), so I sat in the car and the lights wouldn’t turn on. Mabey that’s just a subbie I don’t know. I’ll be pissed if the batt. is dead after the first time it sits for a few days…
My porshe’s battery was dead after 3 years because it sat so much…
Tell them to put a battery in it. It hasn’t been driven alot…just look at the miles on it.
Isnt this the same Suby that was at Landrover and Northtown or are they 2 different cars? I thought I saw same car just different location within the last few mts…
They have another one now, looks really nice, going there tomorrow to get a price. No i dont want newmans i dont want a blue one. This one is gold and i have never seen this color! Love it, going to make the g/f a great winter beater.
I don’t know anything about that one, but I haven’t been looking since I took this blue on home. Mabey a recent trade-in on a new sti. Perhaps someone from here.
Google the vin. That’s how I avoided a private seller who’s sti had seen better days. I found the previous owners posts from nasioc and read every one of them. I found out things the current owner didn’t even know. Do your homework.
I wish I could get ahold of the previous owner of mine, someone named Kelley from Lewiston is all I know (from the title). It’s been fine though, no complaints. I dealt with Chris troxel in sales and he was great, I would recommend him, he’ll do what he can, but it’s ultimately up to the managers. I know they made money on me, but I got an ok deal. No complaints, so far.
good luck.
If it passes my inspection and i like the ride ill offer them a set price if they take it ok if they dont then they can keep it. I got them down very much on a new sti but i hate the way they look. I would trade my tacoma in on it , because i just dont need 2 trucks. This would be my winter car, how are these beast in the snow? Anyone?
are you saying this one is painted gold?
also, what year is it?
its an 06 but the dam thing is a silvery gold. I have never seen this color on an sti. I really like it.
Like this ? if not I’ve never seen that color
That is my favorite color on STI’s. Maybe a little more so, white…but nonetheless, its an awesome color. I see one in Lockport all the time.
With the 08’s going for such good deals, they will have to be under about $25k to make it any cheaper than an 08, unless you aren’t financing.
Yeah that color is awesome, Im just naturally a fan of white, but If that would def be my second choice, Im sure its the color hes talking about
Found i think the same color car, http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/WRX06stireargray1.JPG

In the sun its really gold, not silver.
I like the wheels on that one, and that color looks really good on 06-07’s, as does white, the blue in those years is also a lot better than the 04-05 blue, but 06-07’s still look gay, so black 04-05’s win hands down.
If i get a good deal i may buy it for the winter car for my g/f. Then take the R off the road for the winter and have some fun. Will see what they want for it tomorrow.
Hopefully STI mirrors are cheap!
I dont think she would care, i doubt there as expensive as the vw ones. This car would be the winter only ride.
