does braided fuel line have to go outside the car?

I see a lot of pictures of fuel lines coming through firewalls with bulkhead fittings but no one can tell me if it’s legal to actually do that or not. It would make things so much easier for me if it was. I know a lot of new factory cars have the solid lines running inside the car

humm i would say yes!!

one i dont think i want FUEL lines running on the inside of my car!!

think about it

the sti has them run along the passanger side inside. Just a thought

on your bike your gonna set your nuts on the gas tank… speakin of that did you get it. i see no reason not to run them inside under the carpet. less of a chance to get hit by something that you drive over.

i guess i’ll just leave fuel the way it is and the nitrous will run through the firewall

The STI isnt running dual 255 walbros like you. With the amount of fuel your gonna be pushing I wouldnt want the fuel line anywhere near me.

i just dont’ like how it comes into the engine bay…i might monkey with it a little more…

the wrx probably put the lines inside as a result of their rally use, as i doubt they want a rock hitting it under the car.
